Karma has over 30 years of banking experience and joined the Origin Bank team in June 2018. She specializes in private banking, commercial lending, business development and customizing personal financial strategies for clients. Karma takes her role as the Origin Private Banking Manager seriously – this is private banking with a focus on clients and their business.   With Origin’s philosophy of making every customer feel like the only customer every time, she provides a unique brand of personalized relationship banking to an ever-expanding list of customers.

 

Karma has a Bachelor of Business Administration in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. She is very involved in the community and has served in various leadership positions in the Junior League of Jackson, the American Heart Association, the Cancer League of Jackson, Jackson Futbol Club, and Christ United Methodist Church.  For several years, she and her family have enjoyed serving meals at Stewpot, and she also frequently volunteers for organizations such as Horses for the Handicapped, Mustard Seed and the Salvation Army.   Karma was honored to be selected as one the Top 50 Leading Business Women in Mississippi in 2012. Recently she was recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the Leaders In Finance 2019, and named Origin Bank's 2019 Rookie of the Year. 

 

She has been married to Scott Williams since 1995 and they have two daughters. As a family, they enjoy spending time at the beach, in Oxford, and at the Neshoba County Fair. Fun fact about Karma… she ran the Chicago Marathon in 2008.
